The Bridge Volleyball Club has been shutdown...
Dear Parents, Players, Staff and Community
The past four years have been extremely exciting times for the volleyball community. We have seen significant growth in the development of youth volleyball in the Chula Vista and surrounding communities. We have seen incredible success at the high school freshman level, due to the middle school program. Additionally we have been able to help several players reach the next level of the sport.
After much consideration, we have made the painful decision to dissolve the Bridge Volleyball Program. It is no secret that the economy is yet to rebound from the recession. Many in our community in the south bay are still facing the challenges of foreclosures, job lay-offs and continued financial struggles. With these challenges and the rising cost associated with a quality program, we are deeply sad to be left with this decision.
We hope that all that participated in our program were positively impacted in some way from the services we provided. We thank you for your support and generosity over the past four years. We wish you and your volleyball players the best as you continue to strive for success.
We would also like to thank the Gonzalez Family for their support over the last few years. The Gonzalez Sports Academy provided us with the ability to bring a true club experience to the south bay. We pray that God Blesses GSA with much success as they move forward with their mission to help the communities athletes.
If you are currently participating in our program your league will continue to completion. We will not be holding tryouts for the 2011 – 2012 season.
